Spooky Wipers
Question:
I had this problem and the dealer repaired under warranty. Required a new switch and GEM module. There is a TSB on it, but I don’t believe there was ever a recall. – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text ->I have a 1999 Explorer which is still under warranty. I have a 97, my wipers did the same thing in 1999, something to do with the GEM module). That fixed it. – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – > I have a 1999 Explorer which is still under warranty. There is a recall on that. My 99 XLT did the same thing. They put a new GEM Module in and that took care of the problem. Sorry I dont have the recall number handy to give you at this time but call up a Ford Dealer and they should be able to tell you.
