Go to http://www.4×4central.com/, make your way to the forums.  One addresses audio.  You’ll find enough reading for hours on the infamous radio display problem that Ford won’t acknowledge exists.  After that, go to http://www.evisteon.com/index.htm.  They are the Mach radio’s manufacturer. Then go to http://www.evisteon.com/dealer.htm, find a distributor in your area.  When I lived in Denver, these guys did all the service for Fords in the area.  Most will do a swap out for $75 to $100.  There are fixes on the net but I think they rarely hold up for long.  You may be lucky enough to find a Ford dealer that will help. As a corporation, Ford was unresponsive, said they were unaware of any problem, pure BS.   Good luck.  I wrestled with mine for a few weeks, finally did the swap.
